After signing with Arista Nashville in 1998, he released his debut studio album, Who Needs Pictures, in 1999 followed quickly by his sophomore set, Part II, in 2001. Paisley earned his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with his 2003 LP Mud on the Tires. In 2025, Paisley released Son of the Mountains, his 13th album — and first in nearly a decade.
